We have some funny girls who keep us laughing. they also make me want to pull my hair out. I love them though.
We have been trying to teach the girls to be a little less flighty when they say their prayers. It hasn't worked yet but we are trying. We told Amelia she can talk to her Heavenly Father and tell him about her day. Mike told her that Heavenly Father likes to hear about everything we are doing. He told her she could tell him about the fun day she had at the Bounce House. Her response was as follows:
Amelia: Oh dad, you are a clever one.
Mike and Me: We had no response just me crying from laughing so hard.
Mike was taking down the Christmas lights outside and Amelia went out to watch. She sat down on the steps and then yells "Woah, Cold Butt!!"
Mike has been watching Star Wars - Clone Wars (or whatever it is) in the evenings and Amelia loves it. She is her dad through and through. She actually wants him to pause it when she leaves the room so she doesn't miss anything. Tonight they were watching and the following conversation took place.
Amelia: Hey it's Yoda.
Mike: Yes it is.
Amelia: Look there she is.
Mike: Yoda is a boy.
Eliza: Yeah, he has a penis.
We call it like it is in our house.
Amelia has decided to call Harrison Handsome. She will not call him Harrison. The nurses in the NICU gave him the nickname Handsome Harrison. We still call him that and she has taken it upon herself to just call him Handsome. If you try and correct her she tells you that he is Handsome not Harrison.
These girls keep us laughing.
